Tortuguero 2 Days/1 Night
Tortuguero National Park is the best place in Costa Rica to encounter wildlife; it consists of a large system of waterways irrigating the majority of the Northern Caribbean area of the country. Because of its remote location and difficult access this pristine Rainforest remains virtually untouched and it is home to many animals like sloths, monkeys, crocodiles, toucans, trogons, water birds, colorful frogs and butterflies.This National Park is also the prime nesting site for the green and leatherback sea turtles from June to October, during which months an optional turtle nesting night- tour will be available.
On the first day we will drive to the Cano Blanco embarking area where we will access the main canal to go north into the National Park. Upon arrival in our hotel we will enjoy a delicious lunch followed by a visit to the unique Tortuguero village.
On the second day we will embark on a boat trip into the jungle where you will explore the lagoons and hidden canals; as we go deeper into the forest the canals become smaller and the surrounding wildlife gets closer. On the way out we will take part of a guided hike in the south side of the park, where away from the water the trees are very tall, covered with bromeliads, vines and orchids for a great complement to the canal experience.
Back at Cano Blanco we will drive out with the option to be droped off in San Jose, Caribe Sur or the Arenal Volcano.
We offers two different lodging options:
Economy
This option stays at Monkey Lodge or similar, which features spacious wooden rooms, comfortable porch, hot showers, private bath & restaurant service.
Standard
This option stays at Jungle Lodge, Evergreen or similar, with upgraded rooms, swimming pool and open buffet meals.
Tortuguero 3 Days/2 Nights
An extra day in this wonderful area will give you the opportunity to visit more remote places. As optional trips at an extra charge there are hikes to beautiful Cerro Tortuguero for amazing views of the area or a slow paced kayaking tour on the smaller canals.
If you are a big wildlife enthusiast or a bird watcher we highly recommend the three day stay! This option includes one extra night of lodging, another Canal tour, 3 more meals and extra time at leisure.

Once your payment has been made to us you will be sent a receipt via e-mail. Once we and the service provider(s) have confirmed the tour or accommodation we will then send you a confirmation letter. Once the reservation is made you will receive a confirmation number via e-mail.

Rates and information are subject to change. If anything has changed from what your reservations order was for we will notify you and request approval before confirming your reservation. Tropical reservations respects and upholds all policies made by the providers who's services are offered through our website. Please check individual service provider's policies or contact us if you have questions. If Tropical Reservations needs to cancel a reservation due to problems out of our control such as an "act of God", we will first try to offer an alternative. If the alternative is not acceptable, we will refund the payment made to us for the service, minus the transfer fees and individual charges made by the service provider(s). Tropical Reservations reserves the right to change the route of any tour or transportation service if it is considered to be beneficial to the client for safety or other reasons. The following fees apply if you cancel your reservation: 30 days or more prior to confirmation date, a $20 service fee will be charged.* 20-29 days prior to confirmation date, a $30 service fee will be charged.* 10-19 days prior to confirmation date $40 service fee will be charged* 4-9 days or less prior to confirmation date 50% will be charged* 3 days or less prior to confirmation date 100% will be charged. In case of a "no show" the service that you have booked will be charged in full. * In addition to the PayPal transaction fee.
